President Harry S Truman arrives by car at Washington National Airport. Secret Service agent jumps from car while it is still moving and holds the door for the President. An Air Force Brigadier General greets the President and accompanies him to a waiting U.S. Air Force C-121 Lockheed Constellation aircraft, where they both pose briefly, before ascending steps to the airplane. President Truman waves his hat. An airman with an armband reading "MATS" (Military Air Transport Command) signals for the pilot to start engines. The aircraft taxis out and takes off. Landing gear can be seen retracting, as aircraft completes takeoff.
